September Update: Mini-Set Preview, Quest Overhaul, Leaderboard Rewards, and More!

We're excited to bring you the latest news and updates for Champions TCG. This September, we are unveiling a range of exciting features, including a complete overhaul of our quest system, revamped leaderboard rewards, the return of hourly payouts, and a special event featuring the limited-time Beast of Blossom cards. Let’s dive into the details!
Quest Overhaul: Introducing Story Quests
We’re completely reimagining how quests work in Champions TCG. All existing quests will be removed to make way for our new Story Quests system. This new approach aims to provide a richer, more engaging experience. Here’s what you can expect:
- Goodbye to Seasonal Quests: Seasonal quests are being retired and replaced with persistent Story Quests that will not reset at the end of each season.
- Unlocking the Stories: Story Quests are unlocked as you complete daily quests or discover them in Coomboxes. The more you play, the more stories you unlock, and the better quests you can undertake.
- Persistent Progress: Unlike seasonal quests, Story Quests remain available, allowing you to progress at your own pace and enjoy a deeper narrative-driven journey through the Champions universe.
We’re excited to see how you’ll enjoy this more immersive and continuous questing experience!
Revamped Guild Leaderboard Rewards
Our leaderboard rewards are getting a significant upgrade! Individual players will now have the opportunity to earn even more impressive rewards based on their rankings. Here's what you can look forward to:
- Top 200: 1 Elemental Warfare Pack + 1 Mythic Shard
- Top 100: 2 Elemental Warfare Packs + 1 Promo Card + 2 Mythic Shards
- Top 50: 3 Elemental Warfare Packs + 2 Promo Cards + 3 Mythic Shards
- Top 25: 4 Elemental Warfare Packs + 3 Promo Cards + 4 Mythic Shards
- Top 10: 5 Elemental Warfare Packs + 4 Promo Cards + 5 Mythic Shards
Additionally, guilds will have the opportunity to earn a share of the shards burned during the season:
- 1st Place: 15% of total shards burned
- 2nd Place: 10% of total shards burned
- 3rd Place: 5% of total shards burned
This new reward system is designed to make competition even more exciting and rewarding, so rally your guild and aim for the top!
Hourly Payouts Are Back!
By popular demand, hourly payouts are making a triumphant return! Every hour, on the hour, a prize pool of $1 will be split among all winning players. Prizes will be automatically sent to your connected Handcash Wallet, giving you even more reasons to jump into the game and battle it out!
Beast of Blossom: A Limited-Time Event
Prepare yourselves for the Beast of Blossom event, dropping later this month! For 30 days only, players will have the chance to earn exclusive Beast of Blossom cards. Here’s how:
- Earn Blossom Shards from CoOMboxes and by completing quests.
- Participate in select tournaments and events to win additional Blossom Shard prizes.
Blossom Shards can be used to transform any standard pack into a Blossom Pack, which contains three random Beast of Blossom cards. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to add these powerful and unique cards to your collection!
