Hero Tier List for Major #3

Major #3 is in a week and with it comes $2500 in prize money. With a bunch of Opens in the books since Major #2 the top decks have risen to the top. It'll be up to the competitors to try to break the metagame with something fresh, or stick to their guns going into the biggest tournament this winter.

Seraph won Major #2 and hasn't lost any steam since losing the ability to steal 3 cards from the opponent. Light got major improvements from Beasts of Blossom, namely Fluffiest which gives light decks including Seraph the ability to close out games before it loses from attrition of running out of cards.

Aldric also uses the new tank-pup along with it's +1/+0 bonus to rush down the opponent before they can protect their live total. Solid Light of Aldric champions along with Bless to enhance Double Strike gives both explosiveness and resilency to an already fast deck.

Incendium has taken different forms, winning last week's Open with a more aggressive build that doesn't need Supercharge to win. Still, the Supercharge build is good as well and I expect both versions to show up for the Major.

Not many people have Zorkavah, but those who do are ripping opponents apart by dropping their hands as early as turn 1. Zorkavah is the most played Hero in freemode events showing that people would love to enter the Major with the Hero if they can find a copy.

Sakurajin is the premiere control deck of the format with all the tools to stabilize and grind the opponent out with repeating Harvest triggers. A well-costed Moss for 5 mana keeps the gas flowing when cards gets low and there are plenty of options for sweepers, lifegain, and card advantage.

The last of the S-Tier Heroes is Madeleine, which always seems to overperform. Similar to Sakurajin she can be adjusted to the metagame to play earlier if needed or to try to ramp with four eggs. Madeleine is a "solution" deck that may end up taking the Major down in the right hands.

Congratulations to all who qualified and good luck Champions!
